Jian Guo received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Hunan University, Changsha, China, in 2022. From December 2022 to February 2024, he successively worked as a Research Assistant and Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Hong Kong. Since March 2024, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same department. Additionally, since May 2025, he has been a part-time Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests include the application of bidirectional GaN devices, wireless power transfer, and modeling and stability analysis of voltage source converters-based energy conversion systems.
