- Zineng Yang received the B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China and the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2018, and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 2023. He was a Graduate Research Assistant with the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES), Virginia Tech, USA, from 2023 to 2025. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China. From 2019 to 2020, he was with Fuji Electric at its Matsumoto factory, Japan, working on the reliability evaluation of SiC power modules. His research interests include the fabrication and characterization of wide-bandgap power devices.
